1.0 CANCELLATION POLICY

1.10 The customer may cancel a service by notifying the Company not later than three days before departure. If this is the case, the payment related to this service would not be due by the customer or if the payment had already been made the totality will be refunded excluding the bank charges.

1.20 If the customer notifies the company of a cancellation of service within less than 3 business days before the service (scheduled departure day), the company reserves the right to charge 50% of the amount due to the customer.

1.30 Guideme will process refunds and cancellation requests within fourteen (14) days from the date of the request and will not be responsible for any delay in the transfer of money (if there is) in connection with the procedures of the banking/credit card companies, etc.

1.31 We also reserve the right to deduct service fees already provided to the customer.

1.40 If Outings are not practicable due to bad weather conditions & meteorological recommendations of the Mauritius Meteorological services, Guideme takes the responsibility to plan the outing within the following five days. In case of cancellation due to meteorological recommendations of impracticable sea, the refund of the total of payments will be carried out by Guideme except the bank charges.

1.50 In case of cancellation by Guideme, the refund of the total of payments will be carried out by Guideme except the bank charges.

1.60 In case of late arrival at the departure point for group tours, the group boat will leave without you, your tour will be cancelled without refunds.

2.0 REFUND POLICY

2.10 For group tours, you are expected to reach the departure point & meet the representatives at least 15 minutes before departure time. Failure to arrive before this time will result in cancellation and No refunds is entertained.

2.20 The customer acknowledges that in the event of an unjustified claim by the bank after having benefited from the services, Guideme will have the right to dispute the charges charged by submitting any document, email, and recording of telephone calls to the relevant authorities. Guideme has also the right to claim any costs incurred as a result of this challenge. If the customer was unable to reimburse these costs, Guideme has the right to appoint and hire a legal representative of the region or of the country of residence of the customer and to continue the dispute and/or claim before legal authorities at the client’s expense, which include all legal fees, bank fees, and legal fees, etc.

3.0 PAYMENT

3.1 ‘Website’ provides a third-party payment gateway for facilitating all payments on the website. In such an event, the terms of such payment gateway shall also be applicable. Guideme does not store card details.  When you choose an online payment option, your card information is securely processed through the payment gateway of our bank partner, The Mauritius Commercial Bank. Rest assured that your card is safely encrypted as it travels over the Internet.

Important: It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify, under 48 hours, that payment corresponds to what should have been paid and that payment has well been done. No reclamation can be made after 48 hours.
